Mexico
Of course there's the one big trip to Disneyland that you just have to make with your kids, even as a single mom, in fact more-so up for the challenge I am determined to make it before my son is 13. I see no point in doubting that we will be there within the next year.
But then there's the year after year holiday people take with their children to a cabin on some lake, or a favorite campground, even at Christmas or New Years up to a ski mountain. I admire that those people are that adventurous and organized. As for my children, I just want to jump on a plane with a small carry on to Mexico with mine and land on the beach.
There's something about Mexico, the city life and how powerful the waves are on the beaches. There's something in the water (haha, something good too) and there's something in the air. It's a country of color, it's in everything from the casas to the sunsets, and it's still in my eyes for weeks when I get back. It's such a romantic place that going alone makes it more romantic and coming home is a melt-down before you leave.
Mexico isn't as affordable as it used to be, but it's magical. And it's good that it is growing and rising in rank. It's a wonderful Spring holiday, it's a beautiful place to dream about day and night. When I love it, I know I love it. I can't wait to watch Frida all over again just to imagine I am there in my own bath in the warm light of the Mexican Sun.

Mexico, the place you never knew.
I recently went to Mexico, so this is sort of an advertisement blog. I decided to launch a name for my photography business, it's been Naomi Lisa Photography for so long I think I am known for loving photography now haha. And now I need to think about giving it some sophistication it's never had!
So, I went with the name Forever Captured. Just that, no Photography at the end because it's so obvious that it's photography, not kidnapping, and it's also shorter and sweeter!
Back to Mexico, I found that I got a wonderful response from everyone when faced with me and the camera. I must go back, but with my kids because my son is an amazing photographer as well! Also I know some people down there and it helps to have some connections you know. I didn't even capture a minuscule percentage of what I wanted to...however I did fly with an old friend and that made the trip priceless.
So, I hope you enjoy these photos from my trip.

being with my kids and enjoying spring is so inspiring!!!
I love being with my kids. They are heaven to me, a dream come true. Why wouldn't I want to hang out with them as much as I can before they go off to live their big lives? I couldn't have planned my life better with the help of a god. They have become such little big people and yet such amazing personalities that make my heart feel bigger than the sun, it's all blown my mind. It was always everything I wanted, always such a perfect risk with such a perfect state of love to fall in. Though the world is insane and people are weird and crazy in the ways that the three of us don't like, we have made it this far...and anything can happen...we'll always find each other because we think of each other as "cool" and wouldn't go without cool for a second. Aw, I am truly happy inside, it makes me cry sometimes.

When one door closes...
David Shebib bought an estate, unfortunately someone passed away and will have to rest in peace leaving behind a life full of love which was once cherished by the hugs, memories, and visions of many. However, walking through the door of his now vacant house still full of furnishings and belongings, I sensed a new journey for the dead... just beginning in a heaven... a little seed of hope planted in my heart! Here, a record of someone's beautiful environment, encasing treasures both tangible and sentimental, also truly profound in their emotional presence. Is this sappy enough for you? Good, that's why I do it. It seems death sometimes brings an end to a chapter, in this case it was Garbage Guru Girl.
Yet....Death is a friend who offers much to learn in the way of experience for those who open the door to it. Be not afraid, for it could very well be that Death is the angel looking down on you from heaven with it's many loved ones who have left us for a journey brighter than any star. Bless your hearts. Fear not.

Garbage Guru Girl
Latest jobs on the site, each time I arrive the trees are full of more pure freshness and the garbage is lit up by magical mist creating a larger than life neverending chemistry between garbage and nature.
How I love being a girl. Sensual, sensitive, sweet! That's what I am made of! Thanks David for all the work, hearts!!! And thanks Garbage Guru Men, young and old, for being so reliant to Mother Earth.

Garbage Guru
The stairway to heaven is made of free priceless crap, I can see it from the corner of my as I am driving down the windy road to the Garbage Guru Headquarters nestled in the trees like a nest of crows nurturing their garden of trash.
I eat of the best, and only the best, hands who offer my daughter cheesies, myself tea and rich extra old cheese and buttered bread, and invite me to stay for fish dinner before I go home.
This is a job. That was subtle wasn't it? Yep, here on a little 1-2 hour job, but treated like gold, and feeling like a princess WITH my daughter.
And I've known these guys for 15 years so it's not like my life hasn't been like this for what seems like forever.
There's even healthy oatmeal cookies and a computer to use so I can post the latest crop of photos I shot while gutting a garage for their new Free Store.
Hope you enjoy a little taste of Heaven, get a glimpse into the world where the grass is always Guru on the other side - and pleasantly find a little more sense in your life next time you look at your own crap...if you know what I mean.
Thank you for stopping by!
